Every week on the show we do the Shangri-La Records "Sound of Memphis" segment. We highlight a Memphis band and talk about different shows coming up around town. Yesterday, we had a band in studio called The Bulletproof Vests. They were the first band to bring an amp in studio and play an electric guitar. It worked, and our faces were melted.
