Here is the weekly segment with Chris Wallace. What are the Grizzlies doing with this roster?
Craig Brewer, director of Hustle & Flow and Black Snake Moan, joined us in-studio for a full hour to talk about the writer's strike and the effect it's having on him and Hollywood, future projects he's working on, the sales of DVD's and how much he makes off of those, the time he met Steven Speilberg, and having their production trucks broken into on Vance while making Hustle & Flow. There's more than that. The guy is great on the radio. Here is the interview in 3 parts....
Thursday at 5 we will be joined by Memphis director Craig Brewer in studio. Craig has directed both "Hustle and Flow" and more recently "Black Snake Moan." We will talk about what he has been up to, what the plans are for his next film, the writers strike, Hollywood, etc. It is going to be the greatest thing that has ever happened to the human ear.

The list of guys that I really want to get on the show is getting shorter.
Former Virginia coach and CSTV analyst Pete Gillen was on the show on Thursday. Gillen talked about the best teams in the country, the best player in the country, what players will be the best pros, the hardest place to play, sweating, Duke getting calls, etc. The guy is a gem.
Huggins was on the show on Tuesday and he was as dry and funny as ever. Huggins talked about going to WVU, his team, the Big East, coaching against Memphis when he was at Cincy, and having him and Cal do a sports talk show. Here is the interview if you missed it...
Hellga from American Gladiators joined us on the show on Monday. We got the fascinating life story of Helga (Robin Coleman), from how she got the job, to bouncing for clubs in LA, to going on a date with Screech, to lifting cars. I wanted to do the interview as a goof because I dig the show and thought Hellga was a funny character, but in the end what we got was a really interesting person who has lived quite the life leading up to this point of becoming Hellga on American Gladiators. You just never know. Audio below.
The Tigers named Tim Walton as their new defensive coordinator this week. We got him for his first radio interview in Memphis since his hiring. He sounds like exactly what they need on the staff. Who knows how it plays out, but in theory this is a perfect hire. A young, energetic, african-american coach with a good track record and ties to key recruiting areas. Sounds like a winner...
